This site is called “End Time Answers.”
I suppose immediately, that brings up a couple of questions, such as:
- Are we really in the end time? and…
- Who is this guy who claims to have the answers?
So without completely diving into it, yes, I do believe we are in the end times that the Bible speaks of. Daniel 12:4 says “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”
The volume of written knowledge is doubling something like every two years now. Perhaps faster, I don’t know. Yet in all this knowledge and ‘wisdom’ man has never rejected Christ more. The so-called ‘theory’ of evolution has so shaped our culture that everything is now relative, and nothing is sacred. Actually, it is going past that point now, to the other side where the dark things of Satan are becoming ‘sacred’ and the truth of Christ is attacked, often most viciously by those within the church itself.
World events are coming to a head; secret plans for world control that have been centuries in the works are showing signs of coming to fruition all around us. Economies are on a razor’s edge, set to collapse, and with them the governing systems we’ve relied on for hundreds of years.
On a broad scale, you’ve got Christians now talking about the return of Christ in far greater numbers than even just 10 years ago, let alone 50. Discernment ministries are popping up all over the place, exposing the lies and heresies in the church today.
I could go on, but these things and many more all point to our place in time, and to me, this is exciting. I believe we are fortunate to live in such a climactic point in history, where we may very well experience the return of Christ that generations of people have longed for. Christ has a plan for his church, and he will be returning for a bride, not a beggar. That means there is a great amount yet for the church to accomplish, by the Spirit. I believe there will be great outpourings of the Spirit in the last days to counter balance the outpouring of the demonic. All in all, exciting times to be a soldier for Christ.
Ok, #2. Who is this guy claiming to have answers?
Actually, I’m not claiming to have the answers. I have Christ (1 Cor 2:16), and He has the answers. Personally, I just study the Word and seek to be obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit. I don’t have any relevant degrees or anything like that (a BBA is hardly relevant!), nor will I make any claims to any kind of similar thing. The disciples were un-learned men, yet the Holy Spirit used them mightily.
For me, the Word of God is the ultimate standard in my life, if I come across something that I don’t understand, then I go to the Bible and see how it fits. I make sure the world around me fits into my worldview and that the Bible is the center of that. So far, I haven’t run into anything the Bible can’t explain and (in faith) I never will either.
So I say all of that to say this: this blog is merely a means to articulate my Bible-based Christian worldview. I hope you enjoy it.
Grace and peace to you in Christ Jesus,
